Having visited Pont De Val Boutique recently, I was intrigued by how the property has evolved since my last stay. the location remains stunning, providing a serene escape from Johannesburg, perfect for a rejuvenating weekend retreat without the need for a long flight. the staff, particularly Palesa at reception and Thandi and Simba in the restaurant, were exceptional, ensuring a delightful experience. The room was adequate for two people, with a comfortable bed and clean surroundings. the gardens were meticulously maintained, enhancing the overall ambiance of the property. Although the amenities were satisfactory, I found the value proposition to be slightly concerning when considering the overall luxury offered. While the property does offer various facilities such as a spa, outdoor pool, and dining options, the cost may not align with the level of luxury expected. Pont De Val Boutique is a charming retreat, but potential guests may want to consider the financial trade-off for the experience provided.
